Microorganisms & Bacteria
Despite chlorination removing harmful bacteria, drinking water will still contain live microorganisms. Bacteria is typically controlled in drinking water through the use of chlorine or other similar disinfectants, however, once these are removed during the water purification process, bacteria can proliferate.
Impact on your systems
Bacteria can interfere in a plethora of laboratory experiments, either directly or through their by-products such as pyrogens, alkaline phosphatase or nucleases.
